Summer Camp Fundraiser
MrStevens writes "From March 15 to May 15 you have an opportunity to help earn money to pay for Summer Camp. Take part in the optional Spring Popcorn Sale. The Pack will get no money from this sale - but you do! 35% of whatever you sell during that time goes to you in the form of Scout Bucks that can be used to go to camp. Invite your family, friends and out of town relatives to support your camping experience by ordering online with your Scout Order Key. Customers simply visit http://orderpopcorn.com type in your personal Scout Order Key, and your online sales will automatically be tracked on the website.
Most Scouts already have an existing Scout Order Key code. Contact Mr. White , he should be able to help you. You can call the council at 891-4073 and ask for Lenora.

Summercamp 2009 Deposits are now due!
mrstevens writes "A $25 deposit is now due for each camper if you are planning on attending summercamp. I cannot express enough how significant summercamp is to the lives of these yound boys. They will be busy all day with activities they will talk about all year. Just ask any of the boys that went last year."

News: Results from Summer Camp Planning Meeting 2007
mrstevens writes "Happy 4th of July to everyone!
We had our planning/information meeting last night (July 3, 2007) and thanks to those that attended.
We will have on more get together before camp with the kids. Let's plan on meeting:
- Tuesday, July 10th at 6:30PM at St. Teresa's.
Here the kids will decorate hats and neckerchiefs for camp.
Physicals - Physicals - Physicals!
Please plan on bringing the completed signed physicals to this meeting, make a copy for yourself. You will not be allowed in camp without a signed physical. This goes for both, the scout and attending adult. I will take the lot of physicals to the Scout Office that week.
If you haven't already, go to http://www.gnfc-bsa.org/ and then click on "Summer Camp" and then on "... Leaders Guide".
Decorations (Ancient Egypt)
These items needed for the July 10th meeting:
- Sue is getting the table cloths, hats and neckerchiefs - her choice of color
- Tim will get permanent ink pads (3 colors)
The items are needed at camp (July 20th)
- Tim & Brian are making a 3ft X 3ft Pyramid that will be assembled in camp and painted before we leave.
- Jack will make a 5ft X 5ft "fence" to keep the sand.
- Rob is making the entrance banner.
- Everyone is bringing a bag of play sand - making a dessert oasis in the woods.
- We can talk about snacks
